Planning a visit

Visitors often choose late autumn or winter for drier weather. From December to February, rainfall occurs on 5 to 7 days per month, with daily highs ranging from 8 °C to 11 °C. Conversely, summer months from June through September bring warmer temperatures, with highs between 24 °C and 29 °C, but these months are also the wettest, with rain falling on 16 to 18 days each month. Spring months like April and May provide moderate temperatures around 17 °C to 21 °C, though rainfall is common, occurring on about 12 days during those months.

Accessing the crossing is straightforward, as it sits 3 kilometers from the center of Tokyo. Travelers arriving by air can reach the site from Tokyo Haneda International Airport, which is 14 kilometers away. Once in the area, visitors can combine a trip to the crossing with nearby locations such as Roppongi, located 2.8 kilometers away, or Akasaka, 3.3 kilometers away. Other accessible sights include the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building at 3.4 kilometers, Tokyo Tower at 4.1 kilometers, and the National Diet Building at 4.4 kilometers. There is no entrance fee to visit the intersection.
