The period from May through November experiences consistent rainfall, with monthly totals often exceeding 250 mm and rain occurring on more than 20 days each month. Visitors can combine a trip to the museum with nearby sites such as El Chorrillo, 2 km away, or Casco Viejo, 2.5 km away. Miraflores and Panamá Viejo are also within 11 km of the site. The museum is closed on Mondays. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 16:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00.
